Immigrating to Canada

Every year, Canada welcomes thousands of new residents. Coming to Canada as an immigrant is an exciting opportunity.

If you are interested in immigrating to Canada, you have a number of options when applying for permanent residence status.

Family Class: Learn how to sponsor your family member or come to Canada to reunite with relatives in the country. This includes spouses, common-law or conjugal partners, dependent children, adopted children, parents or grandparents sponsored by close relatives, who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents aged 18 or over and living in Canada
